November 2021
Our brand new podcast Walk the Talk York is now launched!

Produced by Hannah and hosted by Rory Dalgliesh, the aim of the podcast is to give people a voice, bring people together from all walks of life, highlight local projects which are tackling big issues in a positive way. We will be finding out how they got started, whether faith plays a part in their lives, what needs are being met as well as the challenges they face and give you, the listener, the opportunity to put your faith into action and get involved!

EPISODE 1: Reaching Out — ACTS435
Our first episode kicks off with ACTS435 — a York based and nationwide charity helping people in poverty get back on their feet, through a network of partner churches and organisations. Tune in to listen to the 30 minute conversation between Rory and Jenny Herrera, Executive Director of ACTS435 to find out more.

EPISODE 2: Mental Health — Riding Lights Theatre Company
In our second episode we speak with Riding Lights Theatre Company — a York-based Christian theatre company whose ethos of 'getting theatre everywhere' takes their work into schools, churches and prisons. As well as re-telling biblical stories, Riding Lights tackles current issues and their new show for children (Fizzy Finn Finds His Feet) addresses the issue of mental health for those who found lockdown hard, through imaginative storytelling. Tune in to listen to the 30 minute conversation between Rory and Erin to find out more about the show, the company and summer school.
