Ukraine. The Middle East. It's not hard to think of areas where conflict has raged in recent times. The roots of war can be complex and hard to reduce to a headline, and without addressing injustice lasting peace cannot come from war.

Even in our own communities there can be conflict, as we have seen this summer, and longstanding resentments and mistrust.
