Elizabeth Cushion

I originally come from Doncaster, where my parents still live. I grew up in a Christian family and came to faith in my local Methodist church. From school I went to Sheffield University to do a degree in Biblical Studies, then trained as a teacher. I taught RE in a secondary school in Doncaster for three years. Through preaching and church involvement I became aware of a call to ministry, and began the process of candidating. I moved to Manchester for training at Hartley Victoria College. My first appointment was to the Newcastle West circuit, where I was for five years before coming to York in 2012.
